Why I would recommend getting married
at your local church

Churches are a great option for couples with small budgets.
Let's dive into the pros and cons of getting married at your local church.

Pros:
They usually have low rental prices,
an abundance of seating to accommodate whatever number of guests you have.
And usually they have a place for a reception that includes a kitchen and counter space for all your refreshments and any decorations you may want to display.
Sometimes they may even have volunteers to help decorate or clean or serve your guests.
But that is not always a guarantee, and typically only applies if you attend the church yourself.

Cons: 

Dress code
Because it is a church, they may require to preview your wedding dress before the big day. Depending on how conservative the church is, they may require a modest dress in order to allow a couple to use their sanctuary.

Music
Because this is a church, music selection may have to be approved
before the wedding day. Or before you are allowed to use their facilities.

Alcohol
Again, this is a CHURCH. Alcohol may be prohibited on the property.
If you do not plan to have alcohol, then this will not be an issue for you.

If you have a church you regularly attend, it could be a great place to consider having your wedding.
It eliminates the search and stress of booking an expensive venue.
