for your wedding location

Just before Covid, I had the privilege to do this wedding.
It was not my first time traveling far for a wedding,
but it was my first time booking a place for myself to stay.
So it was exciting. A milestone in my adult life.

Josh was a close friend of mine. Almost like a best friend.
I was only supposed to film his wedding, but when his photographer backed out, I took on both roles.

Due to the timeline being shifted because of severe weather moving in,
I did not get to explore all the charming places this property had to offer.

PROS:
Affordable:
It's one of the cheapest venues I've seen. Starting at just $2,500.
Private cottage for Bride + Party:
This place has a rustic cottage where the Bride and her party can get ready.
They had a counter with refreshments for the ladies in the room.
And plenty of seating if anyone needed to sit down and rest.

TINY room for the men:
It has a small (like TINY) room for the Groom and his party to get ready or hang out in.
It is so small it could almost be considered a "con", but I'm listing it as a "pro"
because at least the men do have a place to gather that's private.
Big loft:
It has a loft which was great for the "aerial" shots, and it's where the DJ set up his equipment.

Outdoor space for ceremony:
It has a pretty outdoor area if you wanted to have an outdoor ceremony.
Due to the timeline being changed, and the Bride + Groom not being ready,
I did not get to photograph them in the daylight. 
But there are beautiful pictures on their website (which is linked above) if you'd like to look.
Spacious, Rustic Barn:
It has tons of space outside. Ample space for parking. A charming space that mimics the feeling of a front porch. Since I've been there, they have added on a beautiful, large deck.
It has a stone, fire pit. Out door lights, of course.
And the main selling feature, the rustic barn aesthetic.
And yes, it smelled AMAZING in there.
