Why I would recommend having your wedding at Fendall Hall

My Clients Dylan and Cassie are also long time friends of mine.
For years, Dylan would say "One day, I'm going to have you photograph or film my wedding"
the day came and I did both. It was such an honor.

Let's talk about the reasons I would recommend this location for your wedding.

the pros

Historic Building
This is a historic building that has been preserved, and is used for events, such as a wedding.
If you're into history and old charm things, then you will be able to appreciate this property.

Spacious outdoor area
The outdoor area is beautiful. Or it was for this summer time wedding. Tons of greenery.
Great for family and group pictures. The kids were able to run around and play.
We had the first looks away from everyone and had all the privacy we needed.
I was in love with the back yard of this property.
The front was also incredibly spacious, which is where the ceremony was held.
It had ample space for the guests. Plenty of seating. And a long aisle for the Bride to walk down.

Unique aesthetic
Because of the historic building it is, a lot of the original floors, paint colors, and even furniture is true to the era of this home. It is quirky, old but charming.
The interior is restored to reflect the 1880-1916 time period.
If you are wanting something unique, look no further.

Easy to find location
Located in the heart of Eufaula, this is very easy to get too.
But be careful, I almost drove past it. If you're not looking, you'll miss the entrance.

the cons

Let's talk about the cons

Not Disabled Friendly
As you can see above, there is stairs that lead you to the front door.
I think there is a wheelchair ramp somewhere, but I can't say for certain.
There is also a lot of stairs inside, leading to the room that the Groom and Groomsmen got ready in.
We did have a handicap child that attended the wedding, and I know he was inside,
so surely there is a way for a wheelchair to get in the building,
just not entirely sure how easy it is to get around.

Limited Parking
Because of the large yard, a lot of us parked on the grass.
There is a gravel area for parking, but it is very small.

Dark Interior
Because of the historic building it is, there isn't a lot of lights. So it was very dark inside.
I had to do a lot to make the photos look bright.
A con for me because I was documenting the wedding,
but may not be a con for someone else.

Possibly no AC
I remember it being very hot inside and a lot of people were fanning themselves.
Again, I cannot say for certain. It's been a few years since I was there.
But it is something to think about.
