I suppose it's only natural for one who takes pictures to also film.
Filming was never something I thought I would do. But once again, I found myself expanding into a new form of creativity that I could not resist. To capture a moment as it moves is a beautiful thing.
The way light filled a bride's eyes when she stepped close to a window. The way a man smiles when he sees the one he loves. A mother embracing her children. The way someone's hair blew in the wind. Your first dance. The laugh of someone you never thought you'd have to say goodbye too.
When I began filming it was just for fun. Purely to create. The artist in me ran around the house filming the simplest of things. I had no idea I was training to capture people's lives, so they could relive their favorite moments.
So don't worry, your story is in good hands.

I've been making graphics since October of 2005. (almost 20 years)
Because I was home-schooled, I had the privilege of teaching myself. It took a few years to feel confident in my craft, but finally it felt like second nature. Being able to create graphics for customers at the age of 16, definitely helped my development. Graphic design has become something that is a part of my every day life. At 13 years old, I never would have thought this would be the case. As a woman in her 30s, it's amazing to see how a hobby, or something of interest, can become such a staple in your life. |

Music
My obsession and love for music began at birth. Stories have been told of me as a toddler, sitting in the car seat, humming to songs on the radio. At 9 years old, the desire to write songs began to fill my mind. By 14, I was writing all the time. At 16 I was trying to figure out how I could create my own music, but every door seemed to be shut. 15 years later, I realize that door is no longer shut. There is opportunities now that wasn't around when I was a teenager.
My suppressed desire to create music no longer had to lie dead. It was time to wake up and create. It's been a crawling start, trying to juggle a busy, adult schedule and make time for something that's simply a desire. But it has been rewarding to finally bring something into existence that seemed to only be a thought. It has been such a fulfilling feeling. |

As a teenage artist, I was discovering so many different ways to create art. Graphics, photography, filming, music. I wanted to do it all! Eventually, I discovered design. I loved the idea of someone wearing my creations. Or displaying my artwork in their homes. But once again, as I tried to figure out how I could make this happen, it seemed all the doors were shut. I laid the idea to rest, and focused on the areas of my life that were moving forward. At the age of 30, it finally clicked with me. We have Print on Demand services now! Why aren't I pursuing this!? While money and making a profit is a nice thought, the love of creating is what drove me to awaken this dream.
After two years of research and planning, I finally launched my store in the summer of 2024. My artistic dreams were now all fulfilled and complete. I hope you will look around at my Store, and consider supporting my small business and my not so small dreams.
