My Blog

Updates, Adventures + Ramblings

big update since last year

4/22/2025

In short, here's what all has happened since I last updated this thing...

  • I designed my first book
  • I had became an almost full time caregiver
  • I photographed a wedding
  • Created my music video to my song "Take Me To Summer"
  • Finished writing the script for my online course I will soon be filming
  • AND I adopted a new baby!!!!

The Fragrance of my heart

Poems to Uplift The Soul
& Draw You Closer to Jesus

I am so proud of my mom for writing her FIRST BOOK! She asked me to design it (well, of course) but then she told me she wanted my photography featured throughout the entire book. I cried instantly. I was so honored to be a part of her journey already, but then she goes and says that.
It was a long 6 month process and a race against the clock (because she wanted it finished BEFORE Christmas!) and amazingly, by the grace of God, it arrived the day before Christmas Eve. And she passed her first book out to friends and family.
Not only was this her first book, it was my first book designing. (a book that wasn't a photo album.) It was completed with 132 pages. And will soon to be ready to sell.

Being an "almost" full time caregiver
It wasn't something I wanted or chose, but it happened.
A lady I've been working for the past (almost) 6 years, fell and injured herself. It was difficult for her to stand and needed help with using the restroom, getting dressed, getting food, and taking care of her dog. Because she knows me and trusts me, she had me staying around the clock. I finally got exhausted and burned out and had to step away. However, I was still going to her house almost every day. This made creating the book for my mom EXTREMELY challenging. But I worked on it as much as I could. And got it done. The lady I work for got better. And now I don't go over as much. It's better this way, and I am hoping to have more time to get back to work on my many projects.

Chris + Erin's wedding

I had the lovely privilege of capturing Chris + Erin's wedding. It was a beautiful venue and I highly recommend it. I will be creating an article page that showcases all the venues I've worked at and recommend to my Clients. This will definitely be on the list. It's absolutely stunning.
Click here to visit their website.
Below are some images from the wedding.

the release of My music video
"Take me to summer"

I wrote Take Me To Summer during March of 2023. I was sick of winter. Sick of the cold. Ready for the heat, the beach, the sun and longer days to enjoy being outside. I recorded it and was so proud of my creation. Wasn't perfect, but I was proud.
Well, a year later, I still had not made it public. I was scared what people would say. But finally decided, I wanted to share it with the world. So I spent a week in Pensacola and filmed my music video all by myself.
It took me 6 months before I could begin editing it. A little over a month of consistent work and my video was completed. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed creating it. You can watch it, below.

a new online course written by yours truly?

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I am also in the works of creating a new online course. The idea was birthed in my in Jan/February of 2024. Over a year in the making and I am almost ready to begin filming. I will share more details on this later.

my new baby, thunder!

Losing Marvel was so devastating to me. I still cry sometimes thinking of how I had to let her go. I couldn't stop her from dying. She was a part of 10 years of my life. She was with my as I launched my business, embarked on new adventures and ambitions. Through 2 bad relationships. 4 different houses. When I got my first car. 4 different jobs. She was there for all of it. I would work long hours on the computer and she would be sitting right there. She would tuck me in to bed and I'd fall asleep with her massaging me. I'd wake up every morning to her meows. I'd come home to her greeting me. 10 years of all of that suddenly gone.

It was sad to go asleep alone. Wake up alone. And come home to an empty room and no one waiting on me. I finally decided I was ready to love again. I reached out to a girl in Pensacola and she immediately responded.
I found Thunder 2 days after he was born. I wanted to be open to the possibility of connecting with any of the babies from the litter, but Thunder was the only gray one. I had dreams of having a gray cat and felt like God was telling me that was gonna be my next one. I decided if I did get a gray cat, his name would be Thunder.
So here was this one, gray kitten. And it just so happen to be a boy.

So I present, Thunder.

My heart is so full and every day I am so grateful to have him and not be alone. He is growing so much and developing his personality. I wish he would stay small forever. I'm just trying to enjoy it while I can.

In closing, I've had a lot to keep me busy and touching my website is something that got kicked to the side.

I hate that, but it's true. But I hope to get back to work on it soon.

If you made it this far, you're a rockstar. Message me with the word "rockstar" and get a free sticker from me. ;) Yes, a sticker you stick on stuff.

Have a great day, and stay amazing!

Travel, Work, Dream, Repeat

8/15/2023

Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset, Repeat.

One of my favorite summer time songs by Luke Bryan. He said it best, but I'm putting my own spin on things and saying "Travel, Work, Dream, Repeat".
I've been doing everything I wanted to do this year!
I've been traveling to the mountains, the beach, visiting family. While also breathing life into my past dream of creating music. I cannot wait to upload my content on here.

I've also been working incredibly much. It's been so much fun and has supported my travels. Also, WOW! Has it made this year fly by. It's so exciting to see work picking up and my calendar is slap full. I love this new normal.
Unfortunately though, it causes me to forget things. Like updating my blog. Oops.

What's new? (Photography wise)

Besides Prom, softball, and color run pictures, I recently did an engagement shoot. And there's other events in the bookings.
  • A Bridal Shower
  • Bachelorette party
  • a Bachelor party.
  • As well as 2 weddings coming up in October.

What about filming?

I recently had the privilege of working with singer and guitarist John Cox. Check him out on Instagram or youtube, as well as Apple music or Spotify.
I was able to take some pictures with him and his band and record him performing live at a bar & grill setting. It was truly a pleasure and they sounded great. I hope for more opportunities to film live performances like that. I can't wait to share the footage here on my site.

Besides that, I've been filming my travels and making little videos for my TikTok. (@Ladymusicc)
Sounds stupid but I really enjoy vlogging. It's so much fun. I see why so many people do it.
I hope to purchase a Go Pro one day to better capture my adventures.

Putting the Musicc in Ladymusicc

As I mentioned in a previous blog post, I've been pursuing music.
Due to how busy I've been, it's been hard to find the time to be alone to record. To have the privacy and silence needed. And also to be uninterrupted. But I've managed to find time in the craziness and I've recorded 5 original songs.

Two were for my parents as gifts for Mothers & Father's Day. "She" and "My Dad". Of course, they loved it.

Another one was for a wedding video I'm working on. I thought it would be fun to put an original song in their by yours truly, as a gift to my friends. I haven't told them, but I hope they love it. I wrote it with them in mind.

The other two was strictly for fun.

"Take Me To Summer" was a song I wrote in March, longing for the sizzling heat of summer to return, and yearning to return to the beach. The lyrics came to me in pieces. I had to put the song together like a puzzle. I wrote it over the coarse of a month or so. Revisiting it, trying to get it just right. Finally, I was content and felt it was complete.
I was friends with a girl named Summer, so as a nod to her, I incorporated her voice into the song. We've gone separate ways, but hopefully her voice will serve as a glimpse of how much fun she was to be around.

"A Women You Should Fear" came as a surprise. I discovered the track and was immediately inspired.
I have a playlist of saved songs I want to record too. I listen and sing or freestyle along with the music. If I feel like it fits, and I can see myself recording to it, I save it. If it doesn't, I dismiss it. While listening to the backtrack of this song, I began to freestyle. And there the lyrics were, rolling out effortlessly. I quickly sat down and wrote what came. I hate leaving a song unfinished, so for the next 3 days I continued to work on it until it was done. I loved it so much, I decided to start recording it. After a week or so, it was finished. It was a spontaneous project, unlike "Take Me To Summer" which had much thought and anticipation. I created that song like I said, in pieces. Like putting together a puzzle. It happened in layers. "AWYSF" was quick, direct, and to the point. It happened in layers as well, but was much more clear, direct and came together much more quickly.

I have other tracks I'm working on, and hope to record them soon. It was honestly so much fun to type those paragraphs speaking about my music. Can you tell I'm a little excited?

In Closing

I haven't said much, like I always do. But I've been working away. Busy schedules. Jam packed days. But also taking time to do what I said I wanted to do. Travel, create music, take more pictures and film. I am so blessed to have had the ability to do it all this year. I have been enjoying it so much.
But taking the time to update my website, is something I have not made a big priority.
I have some big projects I've been working on. And I'm hoping once they are done, I can start making my website a priority again.

Enjoy these last moments of summer. I know I will.
Until next time,
-Lady

NEW CONTENT!!!

2/25/2023

Hello friends!

A lot of changes have been happening behind the scenes and I'm so happy to share those changes with you.

A LOT OF NEW CONTENT!

After years of sitting in my computer, I FINALLY added many new photoshoots to my Clientele section.
Be sure to check out the photoshoots section for Family and Events. And you'll see a lot of new stuff there. ;)

I still have a lot of photoshoots to add. Like stuff for couples, graduations, senior portraits, family shoots and so on. So over the next few weeks/months, my goal is to add all of that content. It is long over due, but I'm excited to finally have a start on it.

New projects!

Something I have wanted to do for many years (since I was a teenager) was to produce my own music.
I didn't know what style I would have, as I was obsessed with several genres, but I knew I wanted to produce my own music.
I had been writing since I was a child. I stopped for a few years and picked it back up when I was a teenager.
It was my way of expressing myself when I was in a dark place. I was struggling with low self-esteem, bitterness, depression and even suicidal thoughts. Writing poetry and songs was my escape. A way to let it all out.

As I got older, I started to look into what it would take to make my own music. I either had to buy expensive programs and teach myself how to make music or buy a Mac laptop just to use Garage Band, which I thought was ridiculous.
So I came to the conclusion that it wasn't something I wasn't going to be able to do at that time. I set that dream aside but continued to write when I was inspired.

Fast forward to over 15 years later, I got inspired to make a song for Caleb. (My "at the time" boyfriend)
I had written a song for him but I wanted original music to go with it. I looked into hiring someone on fiverr to make the backtrack for me. But when I started to estimate the cost, it was climbing into the hundreds. I thought surely there's a cheaper alternative.

I turned to YouTube in hopes of finding an instrumental track that I could bend my lyrics too. And to my surprise, I unlocked a new level of YouTube that I did not know existed!

Music producers were putting their tracks out there, for FREE! Free to use music!

If you wanted to stream the music, you could purchase a license. But for personal use (like uploading to youtube or soundcloud) the tracks were free to use.

I was so excited! I spent hours and hours listening to tracks by different producers, hoping to find the right fit for the song I wrote for Caleb. I found one that I loved, but found so many more I could see myself using for other songs I had written.

Suddenly, it wasn't just about one song for Caleb, but I started to think on a bigger scale.

What if I could FINALLY produce my music!? My songs!

After years of them sitting in my computer, and being read on my website, what if I could record my vocals to music and people actually listen to my words rather than just read them?

It was so refreshing to feel an old dream wake from a long slumber. I'm not a great singer and by no means want fame, but to pursue music as a hobby and another form of creating art, sure! Why not!?

I need a new microphone that has better quality, but I have managed to record one song. I posted it to Youtube. Which you can listen to here. If you dare.

It felt uncomfortable to me to sing it because I was trying to copy a male singer. This is an original song wrote by me, but the music is from a famous band "Keane. It's their song "Somewhere Only we know" but I wrote a song to their music called "Something Only We Know". A song about a relationship I had back in 2017. I loved how my lyrics fit with their music. And 5 years later, I finally recorded to it. It was fun but I definitely want to start working on projects where I am starting from scratch. Not copying someone else's singing style. But for now, it will serve as an ice breaker.

In Closing

I have lots of plans to travel this year and make music. I hope to get back into photography, but if not I definitely plan to film. I have so many videos I want to make. But that will come later.
I have a lot of plans and goals. I feel like I can never get it all done. But I'm going to try my best too.
Or at least prioritize which is most important to get done first.

Thank you so much for reading and visiting my website!
Have a wonderful day.

In closing

If you're one of the many who checks this page regularly, thank you! You're amazing. If you're reading this right now, thank you. I'd love to hug you. I hope you have a wonderful day. Thank you (again) for checking in to see what's new.

As I upload new content and update pages, I will make posts here and say what's been updated.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas.
With love,
-Lady

greetings friends!

First off, I want to say that FOUR NEW photoshoots have been added to the Prom page.
Click here to check out these four NEW photoshoots.

(Link will open in a new window.)

As I said in my previous post, I wanted to get back to updating the website. I have SO much content that needs  to be added.
So every day, I am taking one page and adding content to it. I recently went through my entire website and wrote down every thing that needed to be added. The Prom page was the first to be updated. Other pages are soon to follow. So hopefully soon, there will be tons of new content for you to see.

job update

I also shared previously about how my part time job was becoming a burden to me. That's usually a sign it's time to leave.
After much prayer and consideration, I did put in my 2 weeks notice. And as of June, I was full time with my business.
However, I still needed a part time job to help pay my bills.

Around the time I had resigned, I was at a Graduation party for one of my clients/friends.
I was speaking with the Father (of the Client) when he told me about DoorDash. Sure, I heard about it. But is it really that great?
I decided to pursue it, at least to get me by. And four months later, I'm still doing it and I LOVE IT!
It's perfect for me because of the flexibility. I can go out of town at any time I need too. I can schedule photoshoots or be booked for weddings at any time and my job will not get in the way. I can also take time off for my family and other Clients when they need me.
Which brings me to my next point....

NEW EXTENSION OF LM SERVICES?

I mentioned in my last post to stay tuned for some news. I'm sorry for the wait, but here's the expansion.. Or, "New Service"...

Pet/house sitting!

I've honestly been house sitting (or really, "pet sitting") for 5 years now. Word of mouth traveled about me to different people needing someone to look after their pets. Before I knew it, I had built a list of clientele. I'm very blessed and happy these people have used me and some on a regular basis. I thought it would be interesting to open it up to other people. Perhaps people who book me for photshoots or weddings would also want me to look after their dog or cat?
I have been abundantly booked this year already leading into 2023. But there are openings for 2023. I will post this service and details about it, along with pricing on the "Services" page. But until then, I'll just leave this here for any inquiring minds.

Gee wiz, I'm just the worst

2/27/2020

Gee wiz, I'm just the worst when it comes to keeping this area updated.

So, what's new?

Since I last updated this area, (which was forever ago) I had just quit my job to take some time off and look for a new job. During my "vacation" people began to hire me for different odd end jobs. My "vacation" time began to grow.
What was only supposed to be 2 weeks without a job, became 2 months without a job.
I was getting work and getting paid to do the work. I was making enough to meet my needs, but I had no clue from week to week where my next paycheck was going to come from. It was scary. I definitely had to trust God to take care of me and provide for me during that time, but He did. I learned to trust Him to take care of my finances.
Eventually, someone asked me to house sit for a lady who is a retired school teacher. She was in the process of losing her husband of 40+ years of marriage.  They were both school teachers and they have both touched the lives of many.  (Their names will not be mentioned for privacy purposes.) Of course, I didn't know this at the time. I was simply helping take care of their house and dog.
After he passed, She asked me to come back and help clean and do things for her.
7 months later, I'm still very active in her life and am helping her do many things.
This has been my part time job since August of 2019, and I absolutely LOVE IT!
We are in the process right now of preparing for a big event in memory of her husband.
I've learned so much about these amazing people, and continue to learn more about them. It has been a privilege to have this part time job. It's been so rewarding in more ways than I can express. I'm truly blessed.

New projects

This year so far, I've:
  • filmed (and photographed) a wedding
  • started booking facials for Mary Kay again (I am SO excited to get back at it)
  • planned to do a 28 days of yes! challenge (where I do 28 things I've never done before, in honor of my 28th birthday)
  • Completed a 2020 challenge (20 days of 2 sets of 20 reps. So it's 20/20)
  • Completed a "Body Love" Challenge (look up Cassey Ho "Body Love" challenge, it's great.)
  • I'm planning on creating a photo/video series, called "Series: Inspiration"
  • I've received some graphic orders, so I'll have some new stuff to show soon.
I'll share more about the "Series: Inspiration" later.
So far this year, I've kept myself busy.

updates to the site

I've been doing a lot of research and learning about how to run your business effectively. How to market, how to advertise, how to make money, etc. It's been very educational and interesting to learn.  I feel like I've learned a lot, but now I'm trying to apply it all.
One of the things I've been learning about is to simplify your website and how it looks. Make it easy for Clients to understand what it is you do and how you can help them. Why they should choose you, and how you're going to benefit their lives.
So to help convey all of this, I've decided to:
  • Simplify my website
  • De-clutter content
  • Showcase my work immediately upon visiting the site
  • Simplify page content. (Like the About Me section. Wayyyy too many words)
  • & more

All of this will take time. It's a process, but I'm hoping to make my sight look cleaner, more professional and make it easier to navigate. I want my Clients to see what they need to see more quickly. Not jumping through hoops or looking around aimlessly.

It's a lot of content because I make a lot of stuff, but I can help my Clients find what they need to know and find it quickly.

free photoshoots

You heard me. I'm planning on giving away more "free photoshoots". I LOVE giveaways. I've been so busy lately that it hasn't been a priority, but I really would love to start having more photoshoot giveaways. It's really great for people who are on a budget and feel like they can't afford a photoshoot. It's also good for me because people are more motivated to volunteer themselves as my models, and I will get to add more to my portfolio.
If you would like to enter any of these "giveaways" follow me on my facebook page. Facebook.com/Ladymusicc

thanks for reading.
until next time,

updates + new content

6/28/2019

I love that title. I LOVE saying that changes are actually being made to the site.
I love that there's been some new content added to the site. And I love saying that some pages have been updated. Because it was needed! Let's talk about these updates... shall we? (spoken like Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc.)

what's been added? what's new!

I'm currently without a job. I purposely took time off to rest, have a stay-at-home "vacation", and catch up on work. So I've been trying to update pages with content that has been long overdue. Here's the pages that have been updated....

THE VIDEOS PAGE IS FINALLY UP!!!!!!
I've had so many videos that I made for Clients, just sitting in my computer. And they are finally ALL added. I'd love it if you visited the Videos for Clientele section. Just click below.

visit videos for clientele
Photography.... So,... I had no idea the links in Photoshoots section did not work. That is a HUGE disappointment. Well that is finished. You can go to the Photography for Clientele section and start browsing the Photoshoots. Also, new photoshoots are going to be added to that as well very soon.
go check out some photoshoots
Some graphics will be added to the Clientele section too. But that's still to come...
Let's talk about the updates I've made.

updates made in personal projects

Recently I was showing some of my old videos to my friends. I of course, used my phone to show it to them. And while browsing on my site, I realized the set up I have on my "videos" section is 1) needing updates, but 2) isn't functioning very well.
I was using an app to showcase my videos. It has some thumbnails of my videos below. You click it and BOOM! It shows up in a window above. Super cool. BUT!... I had to use 2 other websites just to showcase my own videos on my own website. O_O
I had to upload to a provider (like youtube or vimeo) and then copy the link of the video into the other website. And copy the entire code from there and embed it on my website somewhere. A lot of work that is not necessary. Doing it that way is also a longer process and takes up more of my time.
So what did you do? Thanks for asking. I deleted the entire thing.
I don't use Vimeo anymore. I stopped using it a long time ago. I have HD video right here on my website. So after deleting the app I was using, I went back and re-added the videos to my website. But it's embedded directly into my site now. So instead of going to this site, and that site to showcase it here. I just drag and drop the HD video box, upload my video on here and voila! It's a lot less steps and it functions a lot better. And I've also taken the liberty of adding some new ones as well. So there might be some videos there that wasn't there before. ;)

You can head over to my personal projects center and start watching videos.
Please note, some of the pages are still under construction. This is a process.

check out some videos

thank you so much for reading all of this

I try to keep my website updated because 1) It showcases my work and what I'm doing and have done. And I want to keep it up to date. But 2) I want it to function and look good for everyone who visits.
I want it to be an enjoyable experience. No matter what area it is you're looking at.
Until next time, -LM

2019 so far....

recap between my last post and this post....

Since my last post, (LAST YEAR) a LOT has happened...
  • In December I was able to travel to Tennessee to film and take pictures at a wedding.
It was such a privilege to be there to witness everything. And to see my friends again. They let me stay with them in this huge, beautiful cabin on top of a mountain. It was lovely. And such a fun time. And I enjoyed the road trip. It was my first time driving so far by myself. It was an an awesome experience.
However, Since the beginning of 2019,....
  • I took pictures for my Nephew's 1st birthday party.
  • Edited the pictures I took from the wedding back in December
  • Created the Wedding film "Promise"
Along with other videos that would go onto the DVD.
  • The Short Film
  • The Gag Reel
     And Extras..
  • The Bride + Groom Enter the Room
  • Camren Plays a song
  • Karaoke Fun
  • Ninja Warrior
  • Dance Fever
  • Corinne Says A Prayer
  • "Four"gotten videos
  • I made them a photo album with my favorite pictures from the wedding.
  • I also created the artwork for their DVDs.
Whew! There was a lot that went into this project. But I loved it and have enjoyed it.
 Besides that, I also...
  • Made a promotional video for soon to be Missionaries, Heath & Camilla Jackson
  • Made graphics for the annual POWER Conference
  • Did usual maintenance for a Client's website
  • And made a Graduation Video for a Church
  • And also continuing to do Mary Kay Appointments.

Besides all of this, I FINALLY had the money to buy myself a new camera. His name is Troye.
I was able to do a photoshoot recently of my friend Cassie to get some practice with it. And the shots turned out beautiful! It was so much fun exploring this abandoned church. Her shirt matched the pews! It was completely unexpected and unplanned. But it all worked out beautifully. I recently also took pictures at a formal event my church was having. I got some beautiful shots, I must say. So that was the 2nd time I got to use Troye.

The biggest thing I've done this year is...
I quit my job as an extended care preschool teacher.
I love working with children. But the schedule I had was not allowing me to do the things I love.
And there wasn't a better schedule to take. So I knew I needed something different. Something that would allow me more time to work on things for clients, but also give me more opportunities to meet with clients. Instead of telling Clients that we can meet in the morning or at night, this will allow me to give them a LOT more options. And I'm very excited about this.

It was very hard to walk away from these precious souls that I have taken care of and loved. But I have felt peace through it all. And I'm thankful God has helped me through this transition.
I felt like I've waited so long for this moment, and it's finally here. I took my time as I clocked out for the very... last... time. I stood and looked at the room I've worked in for the past 2 years. The lights out and nothing but the sunlight shining in the room through the window. I reminisced at all the sweet, funny memories I had witnessed. All the children that my heart had fallen for. And thought about all the rough things I had faced, and all the stress I had endured. And how it made me stronger and bolder and tougher. It made me see that I can handle more than I know. But only because I leaned on God to get me through, day after day after day.

I left that room grateful for everything I had learned and everything I had experienced.
And almost in disbelief that it was all over. That I finally reached the end of this chapter and am now starting a new chapter.
I told my co-worker/friend that it didn't seem to sink in that I wouldn't be seeing these sweet,  little faces anymore. It didn't feel real. And while I will miss them, I am very excited to do something new. And create a life that I really want for myself.

I have a lot planned for my website and businesses that I want to do. And I will start executing these ideas over the next month or so. I'm so excited to put more time into my website. It needs some TLC. I'm so excited for the things that are to come. I'm hoping they are good things.

Thank you to all for visiting.
-LM

My Apologies

I had NO IDEA it had been late September since I made a post. I apologize.
October was a busy time for myself and the school I work at part time. I had no photoshoots, and only one Mary Kay party. I did however have a few meetings with a potential new client who needed work done on a website and wanted me to film and photograph some of their products. So far, that hasn't progressed any. But I'm here if they need me.  Other than that, not much got done in that month. I was mainly focused on creating my "Maleficent" costume for Halloween which turned out amazing. The children's reactions were my favorite. Only one was a little scared. She didn't cry. But she didn't want to take a picture with me. Even thought mom really wanted her too. Because her daughter was dressed like Sleeping Beauty. It would have been completely appropriate. But I didn't want her scared. So I just waved and kept walking. It was such a fun night. And completely worth all the hard work I put into the costume.

Remember, remember the work of november

I just want to say THANK YOU to all my clients who hired me in the month of November. It was by far my busiest month of the year. (so far.) I had 4 (and a half?) photoshoots. I have 2 more scheduled. And I have some bookings for a birthday party in December.

I also have a new client. Her and her husband have created an awesome product. I get to help market it and I'm in the process of designing their website for them. As work progresses, I will be posting more about that. And sharing the link to the website so you can visit it yourself.

I also made another logo for Big Les. (the radio station mentioned in the previous post)
I'll be adding that soon to the Artfolio.

So as you can tell, this month has been very busy. And I am completely grateful for it.
I sent out a graphic and text message to all my clients on Thanksgiving Day, letting them know I was "thankful for them". I'm happy to say, the list of Clientele was long. I am grateful for that.

IMPORTANT: prices have changed

Also, just to let you know, I have changed my prices. For photography and videography as well. I do not have the time to update the prices on the videography page right now, but those prices will be changing too.
I needed to simplify it for myself. But also make it customizeable for my clients.
I've been listening to my Clients, and the one thing I keep hearing the most is "custom". I keep hearing that you want a "custom" amount of pictures. But if I have "packages" of this many and that many, that doesn't leave much room for you to get a estimated price on your custom number of pictures. Does it? Nope. So by charging per picture instead of per "package", this allows you to build your own package and estimate the price for yourself. It helps you to see if this will be a good deal for you, without having to come to me. We're cutting out the middle man here. Which is, myself. But this makes the process simpler for me and quicker and easier for you. We're getting straight to the point. I'm very excited and happy with this change.

And please remember that consultations are always free. So if you ever want to talk to me about your options, we can totally do that. We can talk about things like: shooting locations, special effects on your pictures, getting prints or even payment plans. So feel free to schedule a meeting with me today! =)

bottom line

There's a LOT going on. Be sure to follow my Facebook page facebook.com/ladymusicc to keep up with all that's going on. I try to post on here. But if I forget too, you will see it on there. There's also discounts, giveaways, and you can see previews of projects I'm working on, as it's happening. So be sure to follow me on there. Or Instagram @Ladymusicc because I post on there as well.

Thank you SO MUCH for supporting my small business and my "not so small" dreams.
Hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Let's go Christmas!

I've got that summertime sadness

more like summertime "madness!"

I've been INCREDIBLY busy this summer.
I've been working longer shifts at my part-time job, trying to spend more time with my little brother, working on websites and graphics, and trying to keep my business afloat. I was forced to abandon the attention of my social medias and my website. I tried to update when I could. But any personal projects got tossed to the side.
As this busy season comes to an end, I'm focusing on catching up on work.

featured video of the month

Well, let's get on with the updates. I finally added a new "featured video of the month." This is of a worship band called "Through the Veil". They are no longer together, but they are still doing their own thing as individuals. I loved their music and thought they needed their own music video. I created this 7 or 8 years ago. I was JUST getting started in making videos. And I loved watching it come together. I still enjoy watching it.
Because I used various video clips from different sources, I thought of making it black and white to make it look more cohesive. And what a great choice to make. I think for a beginner, the finished outcome was really good.

extra features on home page

I added some extra features on the home page.
On my "occupation" I've added "graphic designer" and "website designer". I have also added the stats for those 2 categories on the "my stats" section. I will be adding my prices for those 2 categories soon.

promos and photoshoots

I'm planning on adding photoshoots VERY soon. As well as doing some promos in the fall. So be looking out for discounts!

Besides all of this, I changed the header on this page from color to black and white. Just to give it a different look. I did it.
Thank you for reading and visiting the site.
Have a great weekend!
